Cindy Crawford

Cynthia Ann Crawford (born February 20th 1965) is an American model actor, actress, and TV host. In the 80s and 90s, she was among the most popular supermodels , and an omnipresent presence on magazine covers and runways along with fashion shows. Later, she got into acting and launched a company. Her sophomore year at high school saw her get a call from an local clothing store regarding modeling work. She later learned that it was a prank phone call by two of her students. Crawford was one of the high school students hired by another retailer, who also participated in a fashion shoot. Roger Legel (a local photographer) approached Crawford in her junior year to photograph her. The assignment included the shooting of Crawford to be published in the magazine. The picture and the positive comments she received was enough to convince her to take up modeling. Initially, she worked with an agency with a small size. It was bought by Elite Model Management shortly after she signed. In 1983, she entered Elite's Look of the Year contest at the age of 17 and was selected for the finals at national level.
